Open letter to Minister Gormley ,

Dear Minister Gormley,

I have been a proud supporter of the Green Party for a number of years, but I am finding it increasingly difficult to stomach your continued support for the Fianna Fail party.

While I accept and commend you for what you have achieved while in power, you cannot surely continue to prop up this lame duck coalition after this last week’s display of crass incompetence by Minister Coughlan, and Minister O’Dea’s blatant perjury, and less than convincing denial of same in the Dail.

The Country is crying out for a badly needed change, and you are the only one in a position to bring about that , and you might by surprised by how the electorate would commend you , if you were seen to do what is right and honourable , and at least your own Party supporters could hold their heads up again.

The sooner you bring down this Coalition , the sooner we can start to re-build this once proud nation of ours.The backlash from the voters will be nothing compared to what it will be if you continue to support them to full term .

Please, I implore you ,do the honourable thing , and bring this farce to an end .
